Our PRO ((( Performance Rights Organization ))) will be listed under BMI. Any singer who wants to voice audition here, there will be no payment for this initial voice auditioning. If you are accepted as a single singer of one of these songs, we'll do up a contract with your expected royalties anywhere from 20% / 25% / 30%. I'm transparent with you and I believe BMI only pays royalties quarterly. Since these are Christmas songs, there probably will only be one quarterly royalty check to me and then to you in perhaps January each year. So don't expect to make money from this until perhaps January of next year, and every successive January thereafter for the rest of your life. Hopefully your royalties will be huge checks worth $tens of thousands of dollars! There are more than 15,000 radio stations in the United States, and more than 44,000 radio stations in the world, with this number growing globally. Now they're not all hooked up with BMI (there's other PROs (such as ASCAP) but we should have thousands or even tens of thousands of possible plays every Christmas season (November & December) with BMI. It should be worth lots of money to us!

How much does a radio station pay BMI each time it plays my Christmas song?

You may send your initial voice audition song here in order for me to test your voice quality. Good voice audition songs might be: Jingle Bell Rock / Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas / It's Beginning To Look A lot Like Christmas / Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree / Chestnuts Roasting On The Open Fire (aka The Christmas Song) - Choose one or more of these for your initial voice audition .. (To protect yourself, please do not record the entire song. Just half the song is okay. Make sure I have contact info for you!)

OR, if you want to audition with any or all of the 4 demos (below) go for it. But you won't have accompanying music as yet, as you can by singing any of the songs listed above. This will be straight acapella for you, and probably more difficult than singing a song you're more familiar with, especially since we don't have the sheet music made up as yet (we're developing it now.) P.S. - Let me explain what happened. I inherited these songs from my earthly father, Leroy Lambert. Unfortunately I wasn't wise enough to try to produce them 20 or 30 years ago; consequently they sat copyrighted but unused for 40 years in the U.S. Copyright Office. (Or so I thought!) I requested to retrieve them and a few days ago they wrote me and explained that by law The Copyright Office AND The Library of Congress is legally bound to keep sheet music for 20 years. After that, they can keep material or destroy it. Sadly, they destroyed my dad's beautiful sheet music and demo records ... I remembered 90% or so of 'In The Valley Of Santa Claus,' but with the other 3 songs I only remember about 1/3rd of the songs - so I have had to do my own song-writing with those. Hopefully they came out well? But if you think any of the words need to be changed and improved, let me know what you think, and if I accept your changes, I will give you between 1% and 5% additional royalties for your lyric changes.

Use the WeTransfer.com or any transfer of your choice for anything you audition here. (For your protection, please only sing 2/3rds of any of the songs you wish to submit.) If I choose you for any role, (I will not only strive for a single singer but also for duets and choirs and also for single line singing (meaning someone else sings most of the song, but you might sing one or two special lines to give the song some variety or contrast - in which case you will earn a 5% royalty while the main singer earns a 20% royalty or more); (duets will earn 20% royalties for each person); (choirs however will probably only earn 5% to 10% per person) etc. I will send a contract to you and we will meet in front of a Notary Public for both of us to sign our contracts before we do actual in-studio recordings at our Music Recorder's studio; so don't sign the contract sent to you until we meet in front of an N.P.

DEMO SONGS ---
Sorry. Poor Quality! ---

song 1a -

In The Valley of Santa Clause -

Poor Quality
New FAST Version:

song 1c -

In The Valley of Santa Clause -

Poor Quality
Old Version Before Being Revised (above):

There are toys that talk,
and dolls that walk;
there are mountains all covered with sauce.

We'll find choo-choo trains,
and candy canes,
In The Valley of Santa Claus.

There's a big brown bear,
with curly hair;
and a dragon that never gets cross.

There'll be laughs in store,
and fun galore,
In The Valley of Santa Claus.

Old Nick will be so happy;
to take us on his sleigh;
and with his jolly laughter,
he'll chase our care-s away.

All day long we'll be,
so gay and free;
and we'll frolic in snow soft as moss.

TWINKLE! twinkle!

Oh what I would give
to always live,
In The Valley of Santa Claus.

Oh what I would give,
to always live,
In The Valley of Santa Claus.

BOM, bom, bom!

song 2 -

Let's Sing Jesus A Christmas Carol -

Poor Quality
Acapello DEMO only:

Let's sing Jesus a Christmas carol;
As a token of our faith and love.
Remember Him always on Christmas
When He came down to us from above.

Let's sing Jesus a Christmas carol,
With our voices bright and hearts so true.
A song of faith, wonder and praise,
For all He's done for me and you.

Let's sing Jesus a Christmas carol;
Let the whole world laud our song.
It's not about the Santa we call Clause;
But The Saviour Jesus Christ and His Cause.

Born to help us all, after this life,
His atonement-resurrection was for all.
He died ... loving us, forever;
He died ... showing us - the way.
He died ... forgiving, the repentant;
His mercy extends beyond the grave.
And we need to remember He came to
save. (spoken)

Let's sing Jesus a Christmas carol;
As a token of our faith and love.
Remembering His life and many sacrifices,
As God The Father sent His Son from above.

Let's sing of ... Jesus Atonement.
Remember his blood ... spilt for us all.
He, loved us more than life itself,
And His name is:
The Saviour. (spoken)
The Life and The Light of the world: (spoken)
Jesus (spoken) Christ. (spoken)

Let's Sing Jesus A Christmas Carol,
Let's sing of His Atonement and might,
Remember Him always on Christmas,
For God sent His Son to make things right.

(Chorus): We love you our Saviour!
Happy birthday!!!
Let this song end with:
Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

(((Play theme and slide out with theme ???

OR let it end with "Jesus Christ.")))
